I really love the way the lines of the poem have been placed across the photo. And the colouring is great ~ one immediately sees the apple.

Lots of layers in photoshop. Separate ones for the figure, the wings and the backround. All the lines of type we're placed on separate layers with various opacities, blurring and layer options (mostly 'overlay' if I remember correctly).
