Some nights when the city was dreaming so deeply that you could hear it whisper in it's sleep, Me and Max would climb to the roof and hang our heads over the sides.
Harry Chong had left his light on and you could see the dry cleaning hanging on the racks, floating two feet off the ground like expensive ghosts...waiting for that magic word that would drop them to the floor and let them walk out into the night.
The skinned ducks had been taken down from the window of Sammy's Noodles and Max hissed at a rat that scurried along the wall below us.
And I swear...on nights like these I was almost sure that I was really looking down on a deserted movie set, as if all the building were simply painted on plywood and if I walked around the sides I'd find them propped up with 2x4's.
And from the west a cool breeze blew in from the Hudson River and filled me with a sweet lonesome ache....

Was your only light source a street lamp! And what was your exposure? (If you remember).
I like this one, and I happen to use the phrase "six ways till Sunday" quite often, usually prefaced bythe words "I'd like to violate Milla Jovovich".................

Yup..just a streetlamp. If I remember correctly the exposure was about 5 seconds with a 5.6 or 8 f-stop and 400 speed film (you'll definately need a tripod). The great thing about long exposures is that it embeds incredible amount of detail into the film.
If you decide to give it a try and have any questions just drop me a note. :blowkiss:
