Ha I remember those trucks they used to park over there in the meat packing area :blush:. And that hustler bar Cowboys near 53rd (before your time I'm sure).

Yeah...I've been nostalgic for a time in New York that I didn't actually live through. How suggestive is this? With his hand position, buffed body and big MEAT sign. Did you stage this one?

Staged? Well I posed him for sure.
There's an area on the West Side of NYC where all the meatpacking plants are and it's just a creepy ghost town covered in signs like this.
Real early in the morning the place is alive with guys in butcher smocks and sides of beef hanging from hooks. You can see scenes shot there in "Goodfellas" and "Seven".
Ironically enough it was also the place in the 70's (before my time) where you could go for a little "brotherly action" at night.
Great place for photos but like everything interesting it's slowly disapearing.........
